DEAD & ALIVE:
Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:11
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
People: Folks that have been through tests and now have a testimony.
Pioneers: Trail blazers. Those who walk into Christian no-man’s-land and forge a trail for Tavernacle meetings. Speak with bar owners/managers about renting facility a couple hours a week. (Usually during down time)
Public Relations: Spread the word. Involve local churches and organizations. Pass out flyers; advertise etc. Behind the scene making the scene.
Pastor: Tavernacle Shepherd. Coordinate; speakers, singers, shuttle services, snacks, offering boxes, clean-up, payments etc. Tend the flock.
Publishers: Print literature, advertising, church bulletin inserts, flyers etc.
Preachers: Salvation message in non-church settings. Preaching to sinners not saints. No preachin' to the choir. Just plain-ol'-down-home-life -changin'-cross-carryin'-blood-bought-Jesus-Christ- salvation-message.
Providers: Time is traded for finances. Finances represent time. Financial support is another way you can give… If you can’t go you can send.
Prayers, last but not least. Actually we saved the best for last. The most important part to making the Tavernacle meetings a success is prayer, prayer and prayer. Prayer warriors will win the war.
It's important to prepare but preprayer is absolutely essential.
